With Kate Spade opening a multi-level Canadian flagship in Yorkville - date unannounced as of publication - I plan on getting myself a pair of her colourful sneakers, the cheeky result of a recent Keds collaboration. Despite the terribly annoying Taylor Swift advertisements, I'm a fan of the shoes. They're designed differently than comparable sneakers, with a dished slope to slim ankles and reduce the often chunky effect of tennis shoes. Similarly, the toes are pointed, more closely resembling ballet flats than trainers and giving the shoe a chic, feminine, and effortless look. The perfect sibling to sandals and high-tops.
